2020 WTT Nationals a HUGE Success at The Greenbrier!

Posted on November 9, 2020

Thirty-eight teams and almost 300 players competed in 10 divisions at the World TeamTennis Community Nationals.  Teams from New York to California converged upon The Greenbrier Resort for a weekend full of competition, fun and new friendships. The WTT Nationals is a culmination of our National Qualifiers, that are held around the country each year.  With the challenges of 2020, we were able to host 4 of the National Qualifiers in Orlando, Las Vegas, St. Louis and Landisville, PA.  The winners in each division, at the Nationals Qualifiers, advance to the WTT Nationals. According to Delaine Mast, National Director, WTT Community Leagues states, “Players and League Directors, from across the country, wanted to get back out on the tennis courts since tennis is the safest sport to play during COVID. In challenging times, we are elated that we could provide the opportunity for them to play and to do it safely!”  The Greenbrier is no stranger to hosting WTT as it was also the host of the 2020 WTT Professional League in July.
